Weddings and Groups
 


For that special occasion or group the Adventure Asia balloon adds a unique style that cannot be repeated for memory sake. The Balloon, pilot and ground crew can be hired for any occasion.There are two styles of balloon inflations that can be undertaken:

A : Tethered - The balloon can be tethered (inflated with a rope still attached) and the balloon only just touches off the ground with guests on board. The balloon is used for the special couple & or guests. The balloon is hired for the occasion for up to two hours with approx. inflation time being 1:00-1:15min. An evening tethered night-glow is spectacular can also be arranged weather permitting.

B : Free Flights - A Balloon Trip is undertaken and the Adventure Asia Balloon Team makes all arrangements for the flight as we would for any scheduled flight. The only difference is that the balloon is for your occasion exclusively. The Balloon Trip can be for Bride & Groom (plus Pilot of course!) or up to a total group size of 16 people.

Note: The group size is at your discretion between 2 -16pax. Flights are generally in the mornings @ sunrise within the first 1.5hrs of the day due to the most stable weather conditions.
Special Services
  • On board video cameraman, photographers, waiters etc can all be arranged (at an extra charge) for the event whilst allowing for a max group size still of 14-16 people.

  • The balloon basket will be decorated in beautiful lace & ribbon wedding decor with personalized naming branded on the balloon eg. "Congratulations Udeni & Sampath" wishing you a lifetime of joy on your wedding.
  • Complimentary In-flight wedding picture to the Bride & Groom.
  • Complimentary Champagne In-flight for the party on board.

  The Legal Requirements
 
  • Charges for Registrar of Marriage and translation of certificate of marriage from Sinhala to English
  • Birth certificate of the couple
  • An affidavit signed by a solicitor
  • If divorced a Decree Absolute
  • If widowed, death certificate and previous marriage certificate
  • If you have changed your name a deed poll
  • The couple should be in the hotel at least four nights prior to the date of the wedding

Adventure Asia arrange VIP ballooning trips where guests are treated to all the luxuries available before, during & after flight. There's are no red carpet however there is air-conditioned comfort, champagne, a touch of heaven plus a lot more.
VIP Flights – What’s Included
  • You will be picked up in a private AC vehicle from your hotel (in the area) and returned after the flight.
  • A private section of the balloon reserved just for you (which would normally accommodate 4 pax)

Note: All flights must have 4 pax booked to guarantee a flight goes ahead. This means that as long as Adventure Asia has four guests booked including you, from anywhere the flight is scheduled to go. Notice will be given prior to the day of the flight to the agent or client or as soon as four bookings are reached.
