Introduction to one of the most popular mountain biking destinations

Most Populer Distination

The Kathmandu Valley offers Nepal's best mountain biking experience; it's small enough to become familiar with, yet large enough to get lost in, making it an ideal mountain biking adventure playground.

The foothills of the Himalayas and the valley rim are of the perfect size and height for challenging rides whilst not being impossibly hard work and, to the surprise of many, there are trails that can thrill even the casual cyclist.

What's more, with 7 days available you can stay at 5 of the 6 best lookouts for viewing the mighty Himalayas; from Dhauligiri in the west to Everest in the east, so you wont be missing what is arguably the world's finest mountain scenery. Such a tour by foot would take 3-weeks! On mountain bike a combination of superb dirt trails and single track connect the abundance of temples, monasteries and palaces making it a fascinating place to cycle in. This is fun biking that can also be challenging depending on the style of trip you are after.

Our focus is on off-road trails as once you've seen Kathmandu roads you'll understand why. Most of our tours are 90% or more off-road.
